A decade of the Collaborative Research Foundation

Today marks a decade of the Collaborative Research Foundation set up by Gordon Jeffrey in December 2007.

We wish to thank those around the Earth who have contributed knowledge so far and remember those who have passed on from our planet but left us with their unique input and insight and those who we are no longer in touch with who helped us along the way.

A person of note we remember today is Mr Jonathan Eccles for his work with us on Computer Abstraction prior to his passing.

CRF Technology

We have never said much about the technology we use. Here is a short digest to answer that call. We don't cover much about our invisible technology here though (meaning software development methods).

We can say we use a wide range of open source and COTS software to develop and maintain our systems and many common programming languages including Prolog. Some of our code dates back to 1998!

What Technology does the CRF use?

Collaborative Research Avian Programme

A new Drupal site for the Collaborative Research Avian Programme will be active at the end of April 2017. The programme has a number of programming projects where there may be interest in collaborations for data science aspects and geoscience aspects.

Normal Non-Disclosure CRF/CRI requirements will be waived for the Avian Programme.
